3D tooth imaging (CBCT) is an increasingly indicated diagnostic method by which the dentist obtains the most accurate and detailed insight into the condition of the bones, teeth and other structures of the upper or lower jaw and thus has the ability to visualize cross-sectional images in all three dimensions, as well as analyze everything recorded in a three-dimensional reconstruction.
It is most commonly used in implantology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, but lately it has been increasingly used in other branches of dentistry (endodontics, orthodontics, periodontology…).
In addition to standard CBCT imaging programs, Soredex stands out with the specially designed MINIDOSE imaging option, which with minimal radiation (the equivalent of 1/5 radiation received during orthopan production) gives the dentist the opportunity to obtain a large amount of information about the required oral region segment.
At the other end of the spectrum Kavo & Soredex offers an ENDO imaging program - an option that offers images at the highest resolution, which offer an extremely large number of details that are unavailable to the dentist through other types of radiography.
All recordings can be downloaded electronically by dentists and patients - on disc, or via e-mail.
Dentists receive OnDemand3D - a 3D diagnostic program with special modules for the diagnosis of the dental region, temporomandibular joint, maxillary sinuses and implant placement planning. The program has been translated into Serbian, making it easier to work on 3D projects.
